Cabanas near the Tulum ruins. A very quiet and relaxed place to stay near the Tulum ruins and on the beach. Among the best are Don Armando just besides the cabanas in the picture, this picture was just a little better though.

 

Chichen Itza. Some very impressive ruins about 200 Km west of Cancun. The ruins are very impressive but it becomes very croweded during the day so come early. The light show in the evening is also nice.
